Yaaaay Art School
So I'm in college now and I made this comic because I haven't made one in a while and I need a good reference level for my artistic skill as it develops through the magic of MS Paint and programs beyond. I'm in for Media Arts & Animation at the lovely Art Institute of Jacksonville. Now if I can only get some part-time work going so I don't go broke while trying to edumacate myself...

Comic: Reclamation of Relationship
Almost based on a true story. I'm sure there are plenty of girls out there who can relate when a new game comes out. Needless to say, she was relieved when it was over. Little does she know, multiplayer lives on...

Comic: Social Enmity
This emotion will develop from the initial "I can quit anytime" emotion to "Why would I want to do anything else?" phase to the climactic "CONTROLLER AND I HAVE BECOME ONE" and then finally to "I should read a book."
It's a vicious wave that must be ridden to completion lest suffer a nervous breakdown but it is one that I have grown accustomed to. If any of you have ever felt similar physical reactions, please do relate in the comments.

Comic (barely): Why Slenderman Is So Angry
Over the weekend (before last), my dear Auverin and I (mostly Auverin) excreted this from our brain glands while screwing around with my tablet and the wondrous MS Paint.
This impressive image can tell many things obviously, but let me break it down: Slenderman is angry because he is being raped by a Teletubby. The pasta-colored mess at his feet is the agateway to Hell from which he spawned. The ghost wanted a hug but Slendy is a troll and stabbed him with a knife and impaled his innards on the tree. The Sun has no idea what is going on. And there are clouds.
The End.
*Editor's Note: There are also barbs on the Teletubby's dick.

Comic: Slenderman
Keeping with the Slenderman theme, this is how shit would go down if I was ever tasked with defending my woman from his creepy creepiness. (click to enlarge)

Comic: My Life in IT
So let's get these weekly comics started back up, okay? They may not be grand, but they'll at least be a bit more frequent. Hopefully the other guys will follow suit, if not, FUQ 'EM.

Amnesia Comic

This comic is based off my experiences in Amnesia - The Dark Descent ; a wonderful horror game by the creators of Penumbra, Frictional Games. You can't defend yourself, only hide in the dark, but, if you're in the dark too long, you begin to lose sanity and the monsters will hear you. You have a lantern for convenient light, but, the monsters thank you for it too. They wouldn't have been able to find you in the dark. It's a hell of a challenge but is intense and worth it.

Comic -Raptor Inc. - Hitler Sucks at Romance by Frankie Sanabria
I haven't done any comics in a while because I've been doing commision art pieces and the quality of our comics has degraded ever since. The most common way this happens is a. they're not done or b. they're not comics. So to illustrate at least what they should be I have done two this week.
This comic is based off of something random I said during a game of Who's Line is it Anyway.

The Dragon's Cave

So, this idea came from a text I sent to Frankie, when he asked me to tell him a story.
"There once was a knight and, being a knight, went into a cave to fight a dragon. He met the dragon and, as it reared to breathe fire, he held his shield high. He was incinerated. The shield was wooden."
He said it should become a comic and thus this was born. I would release my mediocre version and he would redraw it into an epic version is the plan. Oddly enough, this is some of my best drawing in a while, especially the dragon view. I noticed the time and said, "Oh shit! I forgot to put in fire but don't have to time photoshop some or draw some!" and thus I cut some out and put it in. I am still deciding whether or not to color this, it's weird, though expect improvement.
Side note, I have an article coming up, on some of the psychology used in video games. Stay tuned!

Comic - Clowns Vs. Mimes : By the Pricking Of My Thumb... by Frankie Sanabria

Yeah it sucks but it's good for this week. Piss off, you!
*On a side note, I have colored this comic. I'm not too proud of it but it will do.

Comic of Dillon

Frankie is working on some commissions he didn't do and he needs done soon, therefore, he had no time to work on a comic. SO! Instead, I shall be posting one. I have been working on sprites and just threw this together in about 15 minutes as a test, not proud. So here it is. Halo based.
On a side note, I am about done coloring the rest of the comics released, so I shall replace them with full color ones soon.
*Note, WEIRD BLURRINESS AHOY!

Comic - Raptor Inc. : Rocket Race by Frankie Sanabria 007

So this is of course a true story as all the Raptor Inc. comics are. This particular one being with myself and... well you can just put any other person from Raptor Inc. into there and you'd be accurate. Rocket Race is one of my favorite game types, once Shadonickles introduced me to the concept of "boosting" by shooting a rocket behind your mongoose to create an explosion that sends you flying across the map I became a changed man. Nothing got done from that point on. It was and still is amazing. For those of you who discredit Halo for whatever reason, there's no better way to have some physics related fun and cause some massive explosions than with a good ol' round of Rocket Race and I highly recommend giving a "boost" a try.

Art - Raptor Ink Commisioned Art
We are pleased to announce to birth of our first business oriented sub-division: Raptor Ink!
Raptor Ink is our commisioned art firm, if you need a conceptual piece, logo, tattoo design, or anything else 2d and drawable we can provide! Prices are by the hour of work, $18 an hour with 10% discount for military and 5% discount for students and seniors. Oh yeah, I went there. Most jobs take 2-3 hours for the initial penciling depending on the complexity of the request. Payment will be dealt with through mail order as we have no means of dealing with money online at this time. I won't go into a lot of description here since it's pretty self explanatory, instead I'll let the art speak for itself.
Go to this page to see some examples of the work I've done for commision. I have a lot of experience in tattoo design having done so for several years. I can draw anything, literally, with enough time and patience and I will work with you personally to achieve the look that you want. After the initial pencil phase is complete you can opt to have your piece transfered to one of our digital artists to finalize the product.

If you're interested email us at raptor.inc.email@gmail.com. Thank you for your consideration and we look forward to helping you create some sweet art!

Comic - Good & Evil: Everyone Loves Babies by Frankie Sanabria 003

Another reboot of an old comic I used to do. Bob and Jim was the first and I'm sure I'll bringing back all of my old creations but for now just enjoy the fact that these are even getting made.
